The Brighton dance studios where dance becomes a passion. Learn ballet, jazz, hip-hop, street dance, tap, modern, contemporary, salsa, Egyptian Hilal and 5 Rhythms in our dance classes - if there is a step you can take it here; and all in our two state-of-the-art dance studios. Whether dancing for study or leisure, fitness or poise, the Brighton Dancecenter in the heart of Sussex, brings the passion of dance to life.

Excellent Facilities.
The Brighton Dancecenter has two of the finest purpose built dance studios in Sussex. Dance Studio 1, based in the Performing Arts Centre provides the facilities of which dancers dream - a wooden sprung floor, ballet barres and mirrors. Dance Studio 2, based at 1, Montague Place and complete with a new £15,000 sprung floor is a studio theatre facility, ideal for contemporary dance styles and creative arts work. Dance Classes.
There is a diverse adult dance programme catering for all abilities and tastes. For fun and enjoyment there are general level dance classes in jazz, street dance, hip-hop, ballet, tap,
 




modern, contemporary,
5 Rhythms and salsa. Advanced level dance classes offer more challenging dance technique for those who have studied dance at degree or professional level. Significant links with other local arts organisations in Brighton and Sussex allow the centre to host classes in Egyptian Hilal dance as well as GCSE and A Level Dance INSET courses and summer dance schools.

Workshops.
Dance workshops take place in
5 Rhythms, Egyptian dance, musical theatre, street dance, salsa and hip-hop. Touring dance companies and professional artists visit the centre to teach masterclasses and instruct at summer dance schools. A recent hip-hop masterclass was taken by cast member Teneisha Bonner of street and hip-hop dance sensation Bounce, as well as a jazz dance master class by Zak Nemorin of the West End Queen Musical We Will Rock You.

Dance School.
The Brighton Dancecenter dance school has over 170 pupils studying ISTD modern, tap and jazz, and RAD ballet from nursery to major syllabus level. Teachers are highly qualified and have had pupils who have achieved notable success in the dance world and music industry.
